Welcome!

I created this guide to help you with art research.  It's divided into 4 types of sources:

  • books
  • electronic reference sources (including images)
  • journal articles
  • websites

Whether you are looking for text or images, you should be able to find some great resources here. A great place to start is Oxford Art Online, which can be found on the library's site (www.bucks.edu/library) under Online Resources. This will provide an overview of your topic, images, and citations. If you need more information you'll probably want to check JSTOR or EBSCOhost. If you're looking for images, ARTstor is your best source. For really good websites, look in Oxford Reference. All of this will make a lot more sense after you spend some time with this research guide.

Under this box, you'll find a list of commonly-used Art resources for your convenience.

If you have any questions about where to look contact me or the library.
