EBSCOhost is a collection of databases. You can select one or multiple databases to search. For your assignment make sure to select Academic Search Elite, Business Source Elite, Communication & Mass Media Complete, MasterFile Premier, Ebooks and Regional Business News.

For company information select the "Companies" tab on the left or go to "Get Company Info" on the main page. For newspaper and magazine articles select the tab "News" on the left or go to "Search the News" on the main page.

Selecting the tab on the left gives you the option of further selecting the databases to get more focused results.
