Student Workers and Welcome Desk Phone

Students seated at the 2nd floor Welcome Desk are advised to please allow the phone to ring through to the Service Desk unless Monica or Techs are calling.

Transfer calls

With the caller on the phone, select "New Call" from the display, using the third button from the top on the left side of the display screen.

Enter the extension number.

Then select "Transfer" from the display, using the third button from the top on the right side of the display screen OR select the "transfer F2" button on the far right top of the key pad.  

Hang-up.

Place a call on hold

Hold: During the call, press "hold / F1" (located on the top right corner of the phone set).  A musical icon will appear, indicating the call is on hold.

Remove from hold: Press the musical Icon key.

Answer a second or third call

Press the button next to the ringing line appearance on the display.  This will place the original call on hold automatically. 

Move back and forth between calls using the top buttons on the left and right of the screen.
