Websites can be very useful for Art Research! In the center column below, find a loooong list of websites you might find useful. (Let me know if you find any broken links. That happens sometimes.)
Be careful when using websites other than those from the very most respected museums and sources. The CRAAPP tests available in the left column below can help you. There's a video underneath that box that shows you how to apply the CRAAPP Test.
My advice: download and print the CRAAPP Test and put it in your college toolbox. Whenever you think you might want to use information from a website, ask yourself the questions in CRAAPP to decide if this website is reliable. Websites can be unreliable (who wrote the info and why??), but any of the online information you find in the Library's databases has passed through editors and factcheckers and should be credible. Know what you're looking at!

You can find some great information on websites, but you must remember to be careful with the sites you use. If you have any doubts about the reliability of a site, consult the CRAAPP Test linked in the box to the left. Check the list below for some credible sites created by art experts.
