Searching the Web

Searching Google will yield tons of Web sites. To narrow the playing filed try clicking on
"Advanced Search"

"Search within a site or domain"

e.g.: search for "Amy Tan" within ".edu" sites

www.ipl.org

Both  resources have information from nearly 300 reference sources (dictionaries and ecyclopedias, handbooks) covering all major subjects.

  Library Databases

These Library databases are recommended for most Informative and Persuasive Speech topics.  Find high-quality, reliable information from journal articles, newspapers, and websites.
