The following LibGuide will provide you with information on Screenpresso.

Combine Screenshots into a Document

Create a Tutorial

To activate Screenpresso's Document Editor, select two images from your workspace and click on the New Document icon

Use the Document Editor to build your tutorial:

  1. Type in a title
  2. Double-click on one screenshot and the image editor will open for that document.
    • create your instructions for that specific image by adding a title or a description, or both:
    • use the icons in the toolbar to add arrows, bubble text, shadowing, and more
    • save your work
    • repeat for a second screenshot to add to your tutorial
  3. Edit the document Settings to:
    • change orientation of the document
    • add sceenshot descriptions below (by default descriptions are added above the screenshot)
    • use one image per page
  4. Change the name of the file
    • typically, the title you give your tutorial is not the same as the file name
  5. Select the type of file you want your tutorial to output to (PDF, Word, HTML or GIF) and click OK

Double-Check Your Tutorial

  1. Go to your  workspace
    • locate and double click on the Word document that was generated
      • note: make sure your Word document is not open (or you cannot check it through )
    • click OK to open it
  2. Need to make edits to screenshots in the tutorial?
    • go back through the document editor

Notes

Note: The document editor only works with two or more images highlighted in your workspace.

Note: Always make edits to the tutorial through the  workspace.
