Creating Links to Library Resources

This guide describes how to create links to library databases

Using Full Text Finder

1. Use Full Text Finder to locate the journal title.
e.g. "Explicator"

2. Select the access you are looking for.
Direct subscriptions are usually listed by publisher, e.g.: Taylor & Francis

3. Follow the link, then grab the url

e.g. http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/vexp20

4. Add the proxy url:
https://bucks.idm.oclc.org/login?url=

5. The finished link will be:
https://bucks.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/vexp20

Using the Library Catalog

1. Use the library catalog to locate the journal title.
e.g. "Explicator"

2. Find the url in the item record. Right click and Copy Link

3. The link should already include both the proxy url and the journal url:
https://bucks.idm.oclc.org/login?url=http://www.tandfonline.com/loi/vexp20
