The best way to contact me is through the Library Research discussion in your Canvas space. But if you need an answer immediately and a librarian is on duty on our Chat service, try it here:
Hi! I made this guide to give you, in one place, all of the Library resources you should need for your research assignment. Have a look around, and notice the 3 tabs at the top of the page. You're on the first tab now. Click on the second tab to go to links to the recommended Library databases.
Start with Opposing Viewpoints, which has lots of material on exactly the kinds of topics your class will be researching, and might give you ideas on how to focus your topic. After that, try the next two on the list. Academic Search Elite has articles from scholarly journals and non-scholarly magazines, and eBook Collection has electronic books on many subjects. Both of these databases are part of EBSCOhost, a big collection of databases, some of which cover specific subjects in depth, like education, the environment, or mass media.
If you need help getting started with the databases, there are video tutorials on the third tab. If you need advice on other EBSCOhost databases to try, or have any other questions about your research, let me know in Canvas.
