*This is a checklist. Please obtain detailed log-in information for computers, software, and the register from Library Technicians in advance.
Turn on and log-on Service Desk computers.
Open and log-in WorkFlows.
Open Dymo.
Unlock laptop carts.
Turn on Copiers and Self Check machines.
Turn on the register and then:
Unlock elevator, open door at open time.
Closing Message:
3 closing messages are on the desktop nearest the elevator. Make sure the audio cable is plugged into the headset port on left side of computer. Make sure the audio is not muted on the computer. Double click on messages to play them.
30 minutes before closing: Play message 1
15 minutes before closing: Play message 2
At closing time: Play message 3
In Workflows, from the Circulation module, under the Common Tasks menu, select "Item Search and Display."
In the field "Search for:" enter "laptops"
In the field "Index:" select "Title"
Click on the "Search" box
In the Records Display, Title highlighted should be "Laptops" and Author should be "Bucks County Community College (Newtown, Pa.)" to designate the laptops in Cart 1 and Cart 4.
Click on the "Detailed Display" box at the bottom of the page.
This will bring up another page. From the horizontal tabs select "Call Number/Item."
This will bring up a page with a box next to the Workflows menu list.
This box lists the laptops individually and indicates which laptops are "CHECKED OUT-Can't Circulate"
