What the Cute Little Creature is Saying

"Hello, and welcome to your Media and Society Lib Guide. This is where you can get help with your assignments. Here on the home page, you'll find links and tutorials about the Library, how to find books, and how to ask questions in real time. Look up above and you'll see tabs that will bring you to even more helpful pages. The second tab up there will take you to a page full of information about the Library's databases. This is where you will find the most up-to-date information. There are links and tutorials, and again, widgets to help you ask questions.

Notice the tab up there that says "Write Citations for Media." There you will find information about APA style and an unofficial method for citing things that APA doesn't cover yet (videos and images). You are required to use these formats for your assignments.

Look over to the right side of the page and you'll see a profile box that features Margaret, the librarian who is embedded in this course. Ask her any questions you might have, here or in the dedicated place in your Canvas space. She'll be checking at least once a day for questions. Good luck with your assignments, and don't hesitate to ask questions. Margaret and the other librarians are here to help you learn."
